Summary
Ballister had long given up on his childhood dream of becoming a knight and was content with being the beloved "library uncle" in his community.
Sure, there were a few times where he'd had to fight off a few scoundrels who were after a poor soul looking for refuge in his library, and yeah he'd done his fair share of reporting small and sometimes big time crimes to the knights.
Only none of those times involved the direct descendant of Gloreth.
Or the person he rescued gushing about Ballister's own fighting prowess.
It was just filing a report, he wouldn't see the golden armored knight again....would he?
