Imagine a schoolyard with dry dirt and blooming cherry trees. Long lunch breaks with close friends to joke about. The loud squeaking of indoor shoes in the Second Gymnasium. A volleyball net spread high and proudly. Brilliant blocks from the middle blockers and cheers from the sidelines.
Tsukishima Kei goes to school, tags along with his friends and plays volleyball. Fujioka Sachiko loves her school life, cherishes her friends and immensely enjoys volleyball. The cheeky boy’s composedness brings comfort and the quiet girl’s smile brings happiness underneath the deep dark sky and flashing fireworks.

The fragrance of coffee. A warm or cold bittersweet liquid and the sweetest cake. A pretty smile from the barista and a few polite phrases. Student life could contain more than a part-time job and lectures. At least there is something for what long most of young hearts, to have someone special, who would feel the same way about them. Some are luckier than others, but for everyone, there is somewhere someone. Or so Sasaki Akane believed meeting new and new people every day with a smile on her lips and shining bright eyes, which were only looking straight ahead.

The collection is written in first-person, with the same qualities as a Reader insert. Reader/MC is addressed as she/her (if addressed at all), but nothing is described further. While I view her as a female character, some of the stories are gender-neutral and left to your imagination.

Author note: All stories are written in the third-person pov! Please understand, even though I am writing imagine you, I am using names in these fictions, that’s why I haven’t tagged reader (+ the stories aren't lined up chronologically, but according to colours). Enjoy!
