Between bandages, guilt, lasagna fueled threats, and a showdown with Tony Stark over some shady Italian restaurant to proves that maternal wrath is deadlier than any villain.
At its core, this is a story about a boy trying to save the world, an aunt just trying to keep him alive long enough to graduate, and the absolute circus of everyone’s new favorite schedules.
Because before the dust, before the universe cracked wide open, before the grief.

Peter Parker knows that Tony Stark is his father. He knows and hates him for it. With nowhere left to go, Peter goes to Stark Tower to inform Mr. Stark that he’s Peter’s father but is thrown out of the tower by security without seeing Tony. Peter Parker needs help. Who is this kid that showed up at the tower? Tony needs answers. What does he know about raising a kid? How the hell is he supposed to help a son he just discovered he had sort through trauma when Tony’s been stuffing his own stress and trauma down for years? Tony knows one thing for certain: he doesn’t want Peter to grow up to be like him… to stuff all of the crap he’s been through down and end up pushing everyone around him away. Well shit… that means Tony will have to lead by example.

I just–if I bring home any more flowers, Pepper will murder me, and I officially have no one else to gift them to.”
“Okay,” Peter said, bewildered.
Tony looked exhausted as he spelled it out. “Just….come over for dinner.”
Peter blinked at him, wondering if he’d misheard the man or whether the head injury that Tony had received from the fight was making him go crazy–because surely, for the love of god, Tony Stark did not just invite him round for dinner.
