Summary
Sonic, the crowned prince of Mobius was no stranger to the concept of the fact that he’d never get to choose who he was to one day mate with. Even if he hates it. Worse still, on the day that Sonic was going to make a break for his own freedom, his family are shuttled to the foreboding worlds of the Black Arms Empire, as Sonic’s mother, Queen Aleena struck a deal with the new Black Arms’ Emperor for the sake of the worlds of Mobius. The price of that agreement? Sonic’s body. The prince’s worst nightmare, the lack of freedom from such a union makes him want to hurl and the worst part… The worst part is Sonic is expected to father the Emperor’s litters, to be little more than a breeding stud to the Black Arms. Even worse, Sonic’s never leaving Black Comet until the day he dies.
Shadow fought with everything he had to stop Black Doom, to prevent the former Emperor from wreaking more destruction… So when the hive presses for him to take on an Imperial Consort, he reluctantly agrees, on the grounds that he wants someone who is able to keep up with him and not without their free will. “Didn’t even look like Sonic, honestly-” Amy starts, and Tails continues.
“Green spikes, really messy bangs- brown eyes I think? I think he called you Arthur first- said a friend told him you were here.”
“He did? I didn’t even hear that- he was so quiet asking the receptionist. I didn’t catch it-” Amy tilts her head as she processes the new information. Tails nods, but stops as he notices Sonic has gone deathly still.
“....Sonic?” The hedgehog in question blinks as he remembers where he is. He looks to Knuckles, who has very conveniently gotten very quiet. A ping comes in on Knuckle’s communicator, and Sonic glances down at it for a moment before making eye contact with an increasingly uncomfortable echidna.
