The blue hedgehog smiled and leaned forward, extending a hand toward the smaller one. "Well, let's introduce ourselves! I’m Sonic."
Shadow barely paid attention to the name, but it settled in his mind regardless, repeating a few times in his thoughts. It suited him, somehow—fast, loud, and impossible to ignore.
The white hedgehog hesitated before finally speaking. "...Silver." His voice was quiet, raspy, as if he hadn’t used it in a while. But the moment Shadow heard it, the name clicked into place.
Both of them turned to look at him then, waiting. He frowned, hesitating for a moment before sighing deeply. "...Shadow."

Then his eyes caught movement behind Knuckles.
A shadow. Long, jagged spines silhouetted by firelight, swaying with each deliberate step. Smoke curled around the figure as it approached, using an overturned car like a ramp, metal shoes hitting the car with solid, thudding force.
Sonic’s mouth gaped as another hedgehog stood before them, black with red stripes, a scowl and red eyes. He looked so… cool.
And strapped to his chest was– Sonic’s entire brain stopped.
“Is that a baby!?” Sonic shouted in disbelief.

Summary
With Solaris erased from the timeline, Silver has become a time paradox due to the events leading to his birth being erased. When he awakes he is in a blank white void.
After the Time Eater was defeated by Sonic and his surprisingly quiet past self, Silver returns to the present and is awkwardly invited to Sonic's Birthday Party.
Can Silver live peacefully in the present day where even though he recognizes sonic and most of his friends none of them remember him? Especially now that his best friend Blaze doesn't know who he is?
Luckily for him Team Dark has a spare couch for him to sleep on.
