Summary
This is one of my Xiaolin Showdown AUs I'd been working on for quite some time and after sharing it with some mutuals on Tumblr and after some deliberation, I decided to post it here and on Deviantart. Directly inspired by one of my favorite Greek myths, Hades and Persephone. I'm not sure if I would make this into a proper story. Maybe someday, we'll see.
The main pairing is Chase x Adult! Omi so please don't go accusing me of shipping a minor with an adult/pedophilic ship. Omi in this story is an adult of consensual age, all right? I do not accept Chronicles' canon of my boys being biologically related. I do not count most canon Chronicles as part of Xiaolin canon with the exception of some Chronicles' characters.

Summary
It takes time for many to move on after the passing of a loved one.
Everyone resumed their daily lives after the end of Baby's terror and the recreation of Earth.
All except one.
A Saiyan-Human still grieved the loss of his beloved mentor who perished through willing sacrifice to save everyone's lives.
Reflection of the past resurfaces many regrets.
In which births a new goal.
With that goal in mind, Son Gohan vowed to do anything and stop at nothing to achieve it. Even if meant costing him everything he had and defying the natural cycle of nature.

This is my third DBZ story, a much lighter fic than the heavy angst plots from Love Worth Defying Life and Death and Memories to Oblivion.
This birthed from my X chats with @feliarine creating a funny HanP scenario and my need for more content about Piccolo's older brothers who are seriously underrated and need more love and recognition.
