“I can be good,” she pleads. “I’ve been so good, because I love you, and, and I need you, Tucker.” She hears a sob hitch in her chest, before realizing the sound isn’t coming from her, but from him. He takes another step forward.
“The kids need their mother,” she tries. “Little Tuck, and Tina, a-and even Timmy.”
“I can give them a mother,” he says with distant resolve. His shoe sends a rock skittering over the edge; it doesn’t hit the ground for a long, long time.
“Please,” Trudy says in a voice no louder than a whisper, “I don’t want to die.”
Tucker stops.

Summary
All of William's kids are interested in the family business in their own ways. Or they were, at first.
Now they seem to be following in his footsteps much closer than he expected, not that he minds. It's nice to have the extra pairs of hands.
