Summary
Albus is famous in all wizarding circles – Harry Potter’s middle child, the singular Slytherin in a long line of Gryffindors – but he keeps to himself. While his siblings exude charisma and boldness, Albus is shy and only privately charming. He doesn’t loudly tell jokes like James, but will instead whisper dry commentary into Scorpius’ ear where no one else can hear. He doesn’t command a room like Lily, but he pulls focus anyway.
Mostly, Scorpius knows that Albus Potter is incredibly warm. And that is why he delights in shoving snow down the back of his robes.

He’s got fading scars along both of his hands, from simple mishaps and clumsy accidents, and a bandage wrapped around the knuckle of his right thumb – Albus got to watch that one up close and personal yesterday, Scorpius nicking his finger on the ornate door knob of his own bedroom. His fingers are elegant looking, especially while he plays, the melody turning more complicated, and he’s enraptured in simply watching them move. Scorpius has very nice hands.
“Albus?” Scorpius asks, amused, when he forgets to answer. He doesn’t even realize the music has stopped, still staring at Scorpius’ motionless fingers against the keys.

Will takes a shallow breath, tries to swallow his nerves. He speaks flatly. “And?”
Henry blinks, seemingly surprised by Will’s coldness. “I chose you that day, you know.”
And Will sees himself, small and alone, riding his bike through the darkness. He sees the silhouette of something tall and not-human. He sees himself crashing his bike. Running home. But the creature unlocks the door. It follows him into the shed. It gets him.
“It was you,” Will whispers, a hand coming up to the back of his neck. The monster that took him. The possession. The visions. “It’s always been you.”
(or the one where will’s connection to the upside down is a crucial part of season 4 instead of him getting sidelined, and how it changes everything)

His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.

Summary
The first time it happens, Will classifies it as a little accident.
When he wakes, the morning sun is burning through the window onto their faces, and Mike’s cursing as he stands to close the curtains, stumbling all the way.
“Scoot over,” he grumbles, voice dry, and for a second Will can’t do anything other than sigh like a lovesick idiot. It’s a second too late for Mike, because he grumbles more words Will doesn’t catch under his breath and then physically pushes Will towards the wall to lay beside him, arm over Will’s middle. A second of silence passes, then Mike sighs, only to whine: “Fuck, my head hurts.”
Will can’t help it: he breaks down laughing, much to Mike’s offense.

It feels like Mike’s entire body trembles, shakes like it’s about to burst. “You didn’t think it’d matter if you lied to me?” He hisses, and his voice cracks, just the littlest bit.
Mike Wheeler tries his best to navigate his way through the end of the world, with lots of maybes and misplaced anger.
