Summary
Cybertron is a withering shade of its prior glory after the Autobot/Decepticon Civil War. A subsequent conflict against the Quintessons led to a strained treaty between Optimus Prime and Megatron to save what little was left of their planet.
Tarn, however, continues her duties of following The List and tracking down traitors and other disreputable targets with the DJD. After some years, a run-of-the-mill hunt turns harrowingly strange and leads them to a no-nonsense Doctor who just desperately wants one (1) day of peace and quiet.

Summary
Decades after the Kaiju attacked, the Autobots and Decepticons jointly founded the Jaeger Program which successfully kept them at bay. As the years drag on however, the Kaiju have grown more powerful, leading the two factions to collaborate on less public (and rather ethically dubious) developments of Jaeger tech behind the scenes.
A veteran Jaeger pilot from the Decepticon faction, Tarn, undergoes an accident in the field rendering her unable to enter the Drift. Despite her forced retirement from the program, she is determined to pilot once again, by any means necessary.
Pharma, an Autobot doctor and occasional scientist, is tasked with aiding the experimental Solus Project which intends to find a way for a single person to pilot a Jaeger. Low on time and participants for the program, she decides to take a gamble on a risky candidate.

After reluctantly obeying Megatron's final order, Tarn and the DJD attempt to contribute to the rebuilding effort by opening an energon stop. What better business than that of the most necessary component to staying online?

{Shattered Glass AU} On the run from his tumultuous past at the Delphi Truth Facility, a prison and memnosurgery hub for the Autobots, Pharma has nowhere to turn. Weathering the elements of Messatine's scorching wasteland seems like a welcome fate compared to turning back and facing a livid Ratchet who now seeks to find Pharma and deal with him as a traitor.
Fortunately for Pharma, Tarn doesn't take lightly to seeing such pain inflicted on anyone, even if they are an Autobot.

Summary
Pharma gets stuck at the DJD's base on Messatine after a blizzard moves in quicker than he could conclude his meeting with Tarn. His several-day-long stint at their base is riddled with boredom and Tarn continuing to be insufferable, but at least there's some high grade engex around.
After a few days (and quite a few bottles of engex), Pharma finally decides to indulge in Tarn's offer to teach him Chirolinguistics.
