Summary
As she got closer, Vi could see the familiar silhouette of a lithe body on the floor, smoke still faintly radiating from it. Vi could feel her heartbeat speed up in her eardrums, ringing in her ears showing up unannounced. Icy dread growing stronger in her gut like the chill on her back.
And then she saw it, blue hair. Body limp on the ground, blood slowly pooling on the floor.
(Or; a story about Vi going back to Jinx after the explosion on the bridge. Having to take care of her as Jinx slowly needs to recover from her wounds. Both of them are stuck with each other as Vi refuses to abandon Powder again.)

“It does not exactly feel like a… Safe place.”
“I made sure it is safe,” Jayce replied with soft determination, shifting. Viktor automatically scooted over a little, intuiting what his intentions were, and Jayce dutifully sat down on the mattress.
And Viktor couldn’t help the soft gasp coming out of his mouth the moment the rest of Jayce was hit by the faint, weak light.
He looked, frankly, like hell. There was a gauntness to his marble-chiseled features Viktor had never seen before; his hair was long, shaggy, as was his beard, heavily framing the taut line of his mouth pressed together in clear exhaustion.
Viktor blinked repeatedly as their eyes met. There was an abyss previously unknown in Jayce’s amber eyes, a sort of keen, smothered pain simmering in the depths of them as he quietly stared at Viktor.
“...For how long have I been unconscious?”

The passage of time should be left well alone, yet it is not. And it might just be the last push toward oblivion.
