Turn of events:
1. Lucy + Tim → Finally give in to the tension = first kiss that turns very not innocent.
2. Kitchen counter → Dining table upgrade = things escalate fast.
3. Tim discovers Lucy’s thong → Immediate growl, sanity gone.
4. Table gets christened = panties pushed aside, not removed (priorities).
5.Both of them = Absolutely wrecked, collapse in sweaty satisfaction.
6. Aftercare King Tim → Scoops Lucy up bridal style to the master bath.

Chris walks in while they’re both on their hands and knees searching under the police vehicles, and his confusion is equal to (or slightly greater than) the longing pang that slices through his chest when he sees her.
“What the fuck are you doing.”
He says it as a statement more than a question, and he almost smiles when Tim jerks so fast that he smashes his head against the underside of the car, or the shop, whatever the fuck they call their vehicles.
“Shit. Ouch, fuck,” he curses, and Chris has to bite his lip to hide his amusement as Tim rubs his hand against his hair, trying to soothe the ache where he’d smashed his head.
He waits until both Lucy and Tim are looking at him, and then repeats the question.
“What, did you lose something under there or something?”
“It’s nothing,” Tim replies, his voice grumpy and subdued, at the same time as Lucy blurts out, “We lost our kid!”
