    Summary

The Doctor and Martha arrive on Venmyr: a planet devoid of landmass, consisting entirely of water. Despite the planet’s history of harmony, a sonar imbalance between two of Venmyr’s species forms the basis for an arbitration involving an affluent superpower, The Axis Consortium.

After forming a bond with the applicant species, the Turac, the Doctor offers to act as their advocate against the Axis Consortium who is suspected of causing the sonar disruptions to Venmyr’s native species, the Urchent. Despite his diligence, the Doctor becomes increasingly preoccupied with the arbitrator who presides over the matter - a disturbance which doesn’t not evade the attention of Martha.

As Martha pushes him for answers, she learns that the arbitrator is more than a trier of fact. Instead, to Martha’s realisation, the arbitrator reveals herself as a key player from the Time War and, more disturbingly, a woman offering a startling revelation to the Doctor: the Time War never ended, and the true adversary is still at large.

This novel is another in the rebooted Tenth Doctor adventures, featuring Martha Jones as a companion, played by David Tennant and Freema Agyeman, respectively.

    Summary

Twelve months ago, Martha Jones met an enigmatic figure, ‘The Doctor’, who changed her life. Amidst her unresolved feelings, Martha sits alone on a park bench in London without an appearance from The Doctor nor his TARDIS. One year into her role at UNIT, while partially distracted by a new flame, Martha assists Kate Lethbridge-Stewart in investigating a global social media craze of monolith sightings where each follows a disturbing pattern of seismic earthquakes. Madison Lu, a friend and colleague of Martha, supports UNIT while dealing with a personal crisis involving her estranged father.

Meanwhile, arriving in Ancient Rome, the Doctor learns that the emergence of monoliths around seismic activity is not unique to the twenty-first century. Journeying through Earth’s history, he observes multiple monolith sightings during intense earthly tremors and encounters a mysterious stranger in a Panama hat during every event. Pursuing him while enlisting the assistance of Martha Jones and Madison Lu, the Doctor works to unlock the link between the stranger, the tremors, and the accompanying monoliths.

    Summary

Everybody wants a piece of Rising Star, a famed town in Arizona that doesn't appear on any federal maps, nor any history books. Known for its unusual occurrences of unexplained noises, strange lighting, and its low population, Rising Star is a transient town coveted for its opportunity where an assortment of business is conducted without question.

The Doctor, having recently regenerated, arrives in Arizona in 1886 following an unsuccessful attempt to materialise the TARDIS in Rising Star. Travelling without a companion, the Doctor lands during the aftermath of a foiled wagon heist, only to be acquainted with a local bounty hunter named Blake.

From here, the Doctor learns about Rising Star, endeavouring to bridge a link between its existence and its legend. Forming a bond with Blake, along with a gambler, an investigator, an alluring barmaid, and a witness to Rising Star’s oddities, the Doctor sets out to determine the nature of the TARDIS' landing difficulties, Rising Star's existence, and its unexplained vanishing.

The Doctor will not only learn about Rising Star but, more importantly, why he cannot always travel time and space alone.

    Summary

Following the 9th Doctor's traumatic regeneration, the 10th is alone in his TARDIS as it spirals out of control toward Earth in 2011. Still dressed in his predecessor's clothing, the Doctor has little recollection of his identity.

UNIT, meanwhile, investigates a macabre trail of missing patients from Hertfordshire Hospital. Headed by Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, the team is disturbed to find that each patient was a volunteer of an experimental treatment, oddly named 'Braxiatel Therapy', where the internal physiology of each deceased patient has been drastically altered. Adding to the oddities at Hertfordshire Hospital is a nameless patient with no name but two hearts, now in the care of Martha Jones. Forming a bond with the charming, but unusual patient, who refers to himself as 'The Doctor', Martha finds herself quickly embroiled in a murderous web of unethical medical research that will change her life forever.

Enlisting the help of Martha Jones, the Doctor is intent on learning more about the radical treatment offered by Hertfordshire Hospital, its creator, and the creator's link to Gallifrey or, more disturbingly, the Doctor himself.

This is the debut novel of the rebooted Tenth Doctor Adventures.
