Buck trusted Eddie to help get everyone else home, and Eddie had someone to go home for. Someone who needed him and loved him. Someone who Buck loved, even without ever meeting. He wasn’t going to let Chris grow up without a father. So in the split second he had to think after seeing the communications dish flying at them through the storm that was chasing them off the planet fourteen days early, he’d pushed Eddie out of the way, hoping like hell it would be enough and knowing he wouldn’t live long enough to find out.

“Starting without me?” A voice rasps, and Buck’s eyes flutter open, head cocking to the side to find his handsome, blood-streaked mate carrying a satchel of fat, thrashing fish. Eddie’s grey tail sways behind him, and his claspers flutter, nothing but heady lust in his dark brown eyes. Buck keens, calling to his mate with a song that draws the shark in. “Fuck,” Eddie rumbles, and Buck feels like prey with Eddie’s eyes on him, fingers never stopping as they work in and out of his cunt, greedy with his movements. “Look at you…”
“Eddie,” Buck moans, half-lidded eyes looking at his mate as he swims over, still holding the net full of thrashing fish. The smell of them is inviting, but not as inviting as his handsome mate looming over him, slit beginning to open, and claspers fluttering in response to Buck’s arousal. The smell of it permeates the air, and even he can smell it—he smells like the nectar and the sweet seaberries that grow everywhere.

Eddie frowned and his head swivelled around when he heard the shout. Whoever that was, they didn’t sound happy.
He took a drag of his cigarette, before dropping it to the ground, scrubbing it with his foot, and started to move. Leaving behind the building’s shadow as he made his way further out into the parking lot, shifting between the parked cars of the Hideout as he followed the sound of angry voices.
He paused as he came around the side of a car, his surprise at the scene in front of him making him freeze, Steve Harrington was possibly the last person he expected to see in the Hideout’s parking lot at 11pm.
