Summary
Everyone expects great things from Hermione after the war. For her to run for Minister for Magic; for her to champion efforts to bridge the prejudices between wizards and magical beings; for her to change the world.
But Hermione does not feel great. She does not feel victorious. She feels wrung out and hollow, her insides scraped clean and left in a neat stack somewhere along the way, somewhere she always meant to go back to but never found the time. And now they were gone, a feast for crows and rats and scurrying things that flitted like the spots in her vision when she stared too long at the Prophet still in her hands.
Wanted: Graveyard groundskeeper. Accommodations provided. Must be capable of dealing with ghosts. Godric’s Hollow.

Summary
„The death eater statue on the second floor is particularly bad taste. That one will have to go if I move in.“
She expected laughter, but silence greeted her once again, though this one felt different, rushed somehow.
“What?” Draco’s voice was no longer warm and teasing—but sharp, and controlled.
She frowned. “The statue? The one with the hood? Lucius had a terrible taste with that one.”
With his next words, his voice dropped into full Auror mode. “Hermione. Listen to me. I don’t have a Death Eater statue. At all.”

Summary
"I'll make you a deal," Draco said unnervingly casual.
"A deal?" Harry grimaced. "Like we'd trust you?"
Malfoy barely blinked. "Seeing as I have you all chained and warded under impenetrable magic, it doesn't seem like you have many other options," he replied.
"Fine," Harry snapped. "What the fuck could you want that's better for you than keeping us imprisoned?"
Draco cocked his head slightly, taking a slow, deliberate inhale before his eyes moved between Ron and Harry – lingering for a moment as if weighing his next move, then finally settled with a smirk.
"What I want," he began, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth "is something only she can give me." Nodding toward Hermione.
