oct25/ just re-read this, and ugh it's so good. it's a different snape than we usually see in fanfic, and i absolutely love him. a broken, bitter, scared, angry man, but with a heart burried deep down there somewhere. i think book snape really shines through here. got aspects of a character study. and the writing is really great! i think everything that happens storywise, as well as everything that happens in snape's and harry's heads is all described so well.

amazing character study in 200k. serious one of my favourite snape fics that i have ever read. he is still mean snarky himself, with all his flaws, but still trying to do what he knows is right. so much character growth, both for snape as he lands himself in situations that challange his way of thinking, but also for the people he meets along the way. amazingly written. the plot too, just incredible. a timetravel fic where the MC *doesn't* sit with all the facts, and it takes us on an incredible journey. already looking forward to re-read this at some point!
