They stood there a full minute, waiting for the strangers to leave.
When silence finally returned, Porsche’s hands shook as he pushed Kinn away gently.
Kinn had half-expected fists.“Um…” Porsche broke the quiet first, not meeting his eyes, voice playful despite everything. “So is this how you solve problems with your opponents?”
“Only the most disobedient ones,” Kinn answered, voice still dark and molten.
“I-I think I should go… people will talk.”
“Yeah. People would.” Kinn brushed a thumb over the fresh marks on Porsche’s neck. Porsche hissed at the sting; his hands flew up to stop Kinn’s fingers from pressing too hard.
“Animal,” he whispered no real heat behind it.
Kinn smirked.
