After the war, everyone was changed, as was expected. Harry was finally free of the weight of the wizarding world on his shoulders, the Weasleys were mourning the loss of Fred, wizarding society as a whole was working to heal. What wasn't expected were the changes in Hermione Granger. Since her time in Malfoy Manor, she was...different. The boys think that perhaps with time, they'll have their same old Mother Hen Mione back. They don't know that she kept some of the worst trauma from her torture from them. Nor do they know what truly saved her that day.
Now, going back to Hogwarts for their eighth year, Hermione is haunted by a promise from Fenrir and the soothing notes of a lullaby that carried her through her torture at the hands of both Bellatrix and the wolf.
