Mike is in a dream state induced by Vecna and Will ventures in it alone.
He hopes he knows his friend enough to find him so that they could escaped together. At first this strangely beautiful fantasy like universe, created by the one mind he hold dear, seems armless. However Will could’nt help thinking Vecna could be lurking at the borders somewhere and there’s definitively a LOT of mystery in there to decode to find the exit.
Thankfully Will knows more about Mike’s mind that anyone ever.
When the boy who survives the Upside Down reunites with his quest partner he seems weirdly clueless about the secrets that’s behind his own imaginary kingdom. Will is oh so happy to help deciphers the brain of the one he likes since forever but some feelings gets in the way of their mission : as much Mike trust Will, he can’t fully trust himself.
It’s a blessing that Will is also very aware of this facts. -

Un an après avoir stabilisé le HonMoon et la disparition des Saja Boys, les Huntrix continuent leurs carrières de pop star sans avoir à se soucier des démons.
Cependant, ils n'ont pas tout à fait quitté les lieux et Zoey l'apprend à ses dépends lors d'une de ses rares sorties en solitaire.
Abby, ce gros bêta, trop musclé et trop souriant pour être honnête, est là, devant elle, sous sa forme de démon, et incapable de s'en soustraire.
Et encore plus, il aurait besoin d'elle ?
Pour sortir de l'ombre, l'ancienne pop star doit absolument conclure un marché avec l'ennemie qui a fomenté sa perte.
Ils le doivent tous les deux, en fait ; pour se construire, se reconstruire et même, peut-être, enterrer la haine passée.(ou ; un artiste a fait des fanarts de Abby X Zoey incroyablement mignons, j'ai vu le potentiel amitié/romance et me voila, avec cette fanfic >_> !)

Jayce le sentait : les deux hommes se comprenaient parfois si intimement que s’en était troublant. Ils ne pouvaient qu’accomplir des choses que personne ne pensait possible avant. Jayce les voyait tout deux comme des âmes sœurs : Il ne connaissait rien de similaire.

“Do you know something?” Jonathan asked.
Silence for a few moments, then “I might.” Robin’s face was still unreadable. “Do you know something?”
Jonathan nodded slowly. “I might as well.”
They both looked away again, Jonathan’s mind racing. He swallowed hard, not really sure what else to say as he slowly turned to Robin again. She was doing the same, and they looked away quickly.
The silence was deafening, but the realisation was even louder. Jonathan nearly choked as Robin gasped, and they both leaped to their feet. The desk chair Robin was sitting in rolled away, while Jonathan’s fully fell back as they pointed accusingly at each other.
“You know!” Jonathan blurted out.
“And you know!” Robin shot right back.

Summary
By all measures, Mike is a good alpha. He checks all the boxes, really. Protective without being overbearing, quick to step in when someone’s in trouble, careful but not patronizing. He’s loud and boisterous, sure, but he’s also earnest, and sweet, and so goddamn chivalrous it’s stupid.
It’s all so horribly infuriating, and so infuriatingly endearing.
That’s the thing about instincts. They make everything so confusing. Will knows, rationally, that all of these things are just Mike’s way of being a good friend and packmate. And yet, there’s still a part of him—a decidedly omega part—that relishes in the attention in a way he knows he shouldn’t.
Navigating teenage relationships is hard enough. It's even harder when instincts get involved.

Summary
Mike doesn’t know what’s going on with Will and Robin, but all he knows is that it makes him want to scream. Or curl into a ball and cry. Or jump off a cliff. Any of those options would suffice, really, to convey just how much he hates it.
