Maybe if things hadn’t fallen apart so quickly, things would be different. Maybe Silvia would have approached her, would have come to Julia with her discovery and clasp their hands together, her words nothing more than a whisper. Maybe they could have gone off to look for Valentine together, preventing Silvia from being attacked first by the outlaws and then Proteus himself. Maybe the bruises that were blooming up Silvia’s arm, products of Proteus’ rough and demanding hands, didn’t have to be created in the first place.
But it had happened. And now, as Julia moved towards Silvia under the canopy of leaves that stretched over their heads, they would have to pick up the pieces.

A large figure was standing at the foot of his bed. It towered above him, head brushing up against the ceiling. The figure noticed Logan’s movements, and it bent down, as if trying to get a closer look at him.
Logan’s throat closed up as he recognized the figure for what it was. It was the creature—the one he had left lying in the lab with as much life in it as a rock. And here it was now, eyes an odd yellow color in the half life. Its mouth was twisted up in an odd grimace. It almost looked like it was attempting to smile.
“Hello,” He said weakly, fluttering his fingers weakly up at the creature, and then promptly passed out.

Summary
Crowley sought out warmth in his own time. He lingered by fireplaces, brushing his hand out to grab the sparks that leapt from the logs. He basked in the light of the sun, face turned upwards at the sky. He lost himself in crowds of people, drawing heat from contact with their flushed skin as he passed.
But by far the greatest source of warmth came from a rather unexpected source - Aziraphale himself.

There were very few people who knew Patton was gay. Virgil was one of the select few, alongside Patton’s twin brother and a few of his friends. There were very few things Patton was secretive about - he hated lying and keeping things from other people, insisted on being as honest as humanly possible - but his sexuality was one of the things Patton had always hidden, afraid of what would happen if anyone else knew. Virgil didn’t blame him; he had heard the things Patton’s parents had said about anyone who wasn’t straight or cis.
Someone had outed Patton, and Virgil was going to kill them.

The storms were always the worst. Whenever Roman was upset or downtrodden or feeling some other negative emotion, the Imagination would react by whipping up a proper storm. The severity of the storm, of course, depended on whatever brand of misery Roman was feeling that particular day. Angry? Thunder would boom so loudly that Roman feared it would shake the Mindscape. Afraid of being looked down upon? The wind would whip around his room so violently that his papers would be sent flying to the floor.

Roman closed his eyes and began to hum to himself, plucking out the tune of a song he had begun to work on. It was just a few chords; he had only started writing it a few days ago and hadn’t had much time to dedicate to it. Sitting like this, with the sun on his face and the wind lightly blowing around him, was nice. If he could, he would spend everyday like this - spend everyday outdoors under the sun with his love by his side. It was perfect. Everything was perfect.

Logan blew a stream of air out of his nose. Disabling the mechanism that would shut down the laser system was an easy enough task; after all, he’d had managed to shut down more complicated machines in less time in higher pressure situations. The only trouble was that to shut down the system, he would have to climb up to reach it where it was secured up by the ceiling, and Logan really wasn’t in the mood to scale yet another wall.
But it had to be done, and Logan wasn’t prepared to just give up. They had been planning this job for months, and he wasn’t about to let all that hard work go down the drain. (OR logan and roman are thieves)

It was a well known fact that Virgil was far from confident; he lacked most, if not all, the specific traits one needed to even be considered “confident” in any way. He wasn’t bold, he wasn’t fearless and he sure as hell wasn’t secure. He was everything the personification of anxiety entailed - nervous, uncertain and untrusting. That’s the way it had always been, and it looked like that was the way it was always going to be. But if the others could change, why couldn’t he?
