Though his entire world has turned upside down, one thing remains the same: Hua Cheng’s affection for him. Together, they work through the events of the past four years to help Xie Lian come to terms with his trauma and find a way to catch his captor. He wretched again. Nothing. He fell back against the wall, no warm arms to wrap themselves around him this time. No smell of cheap cigarettes and summer time sweat, no sun on his neck... Hyperventilating, he curled in on himself. No Gueira.
