After Cloud Recesses burns, Wen Xu brings Lan Wangji — the last Lan — back to Nightless City as his prize. Not to be outdone, his brother Wen Chao soon returns with a prize of his own: the Jiang Sect's senior disciple, Wei Wuxian.
The Wens will come to regret this particular set of choices.

Summary
