"Ava," she finally says. "What is this?"
"It's what it says—" Ava points to the title. "A sex position books for women in same-sex relationships."
Deborah doesn't respond.
She tries again. "I just thought it would be a good way to spice up our sex life, try out new positions. We might even find a new favorite!"
Deborah looks away. Ava's stomach drops.
"You don't like it," she says. A statement, not a question.
"No, I do. I just—" Deborah sighs. "I thought our sex life was already 'spicy' enough.
