“No– unhand me!” Damian, who normally relishes in the touch of the eldest twists out of his hold. “He needs to know!”
“Dami.” The nickname is no longer a resigned utterance, but a sharp warning as Dick stands and begins to, once again, pull the boy away.
“Need to know what?” Jason forces himself to sit up with a slight wince, his back propped against the too-flat pillows. “Unless Dickwad here managed to kill the Joker, I don’t wanna hear it.” His sarcastic laugh is mixed with an irritated huff and scoff, all in one.
Dick’s movements stutter, and he internally curses himself for it. Jason, while not renowned for his detective skills, is still part of the family– incredibly smart and intimate in his knowledge of Dick’s behaviors and tells. That, and the satisfied smile on Damian’s face, give it away.

Summary
Dick has shot Roy’s bow a few times. Roy’s current bow is a beast with a 105 pound draw weight. Dick allows himself a small smile, remembering how delighted Roy had been when he got it, deliberately two pounds heavier than Oliver’s. (“Suck it, old man!” Roy had crowed.) Dick had been able to use it, but at that weight his accuracy had been terrible.
Still, those 105 pounds now seem lighter than a feather pillow, compared to the pull of his trigger.
“Officer Grayson, please wait here. Your union rep will be here soon, and she has requested that we don’t start without her.”

Summary
Dick takes a half-dozen or so spoonsful of the soup before just pushing it around the bowl while he stares at it. Out of nowhere, he says, “I know you’re wondering about the things I said.” He eats a couple more spoons of soup, head hunched over the bowl.
Jason opens his mouth to deny it but then stops. It doesn’t feel right to not be fully honest with Dick after Dick had been forced to fully bare his own truths in the most brutal way.
“I might be. But that doesn’t give me any claim to the information. You don’t need to tell me anything about it.”
Dick lifts his head and looks directly at Jason, unflinching. “Tarantula raped me. And I’m guessing Roy probably told you about Mirage.” He says it conversationally, and his face betrays nothing, but Jason can’t miss how now his knuckles are white where his hand is gripping the spoon.
Or,
Dick's stalker doses him with truth serum, and no one has a good time.
