Summary
Mrs Hughes’ office was dark and dreary but it was the only place of safety her frazzled mind could think of and she desperately needed help though now she was doubting whether or not she should have just gone to her room. She was cold, so very cold but that wasn’t the only reason for her trembling. The darkness around her was oppressive. His face seemed to dance in the shadows threatening to jump out and attack her once again the bleeding and bruising painful reminders of what happened just a few moments ago.
The quiet that had surrounded her was now interrupted by the sound of the other staff returning downstairs which could only mean that the concert must have finished, she prayed that Mrs Hughes would find her and not Mr Carson she couldn’t bear it if he found her. Though her prayer would partially come true when she heard the door open, two pairs of heels clattered against the stone floors abruptly stopping once the light had been flipped on followed by two gasps but one snapped out of the shock quicker than the other.

She looks up. The creatures don’t normally speak. But her heart starts pounding and she scrabbles backwards as fast as she can. This isn’t a creature, this is a nightmare.
This is the Doctor.
The blonde woman takes a step into the room and Yaz cowers. She has come for her. She has come for Yaz and she is going to hurt her.
Yaz holds her hands out again, this time pleading, as the other woman moves closer and crouches in front of where she is on the bed, pressing herself into the corner of the room. “Yaz? What have they done to you?”Yaz has been taken by some people who want to get to the Doctor but in the process of them trying to get information out of her, she has forgotten reality, her memories of Earth and their adventures twisted into nightmares. She's been convinced that the Doctor is dangerous but the Doctor just wants to save the woman she loves.
