That tongue disappeared back behind the seam of his lips as Crick turned to him, a touch of concern already etched across his features even as Temenos pushed through that already scant distance between them, one hand settling on the curve of Crick’s thigh as he surged up to kiss him.
Crick and Temenos enjoy a mundane evening together.

His hand stopped from where it’d begun to flip rapidly through the book, fingers lingering on the text scrawled across the top. Heartbeat Pendants, it read, accompanied by a simple picture of two heart shaped charms, intricate metal things with matching gems embedded in the middle, a soft glow emanating from the pair.
With too much time on his hands, Temenos takes up a new hobby. It goes as well as it could, all things considered.

“We should still do something about it,” Agnea concluded, freeing her face to pound her fist into her palm, “we know Temenos is interested—”
Partitio perked up, a spark in his eyes as he added, “—an' Crick is so bad you can see it from the other continent.”
“So we just need to help them along a little!” Agnea clapped her hands, letting out a little cheer. “It’ll be good for them!”
The group decides Crick and Temenos' painfully long courtship has to end. Crick, separate from them, comes to much the same conclusion. Shenanigans ensue.
