    Summary

Cedric the Sorcerer wanted nothing more than to see what secrets lay beyond an ancient, magical mirror. Rather than finding the key to taking over the kingdom of Enchancia, a battle-worn, world-weary warrior stumbled into his arms instead.

Evaline Surana, Hero of Ferelden, vanquisher of the Archdemon, Urthemiel, had faced everything the world of Thedas could throw at her. She had faced betrayal, heartbreak, darkspawn, and demons—but nothing prepared her for her greatest challenge yet: a world of pastel castles, talking animals, and a kingdom where most problems are solved through song.

As old magics begin to unravel across two worlds, Evaline must reconcile with her past, Cedric must (begrudgingly) rise to the occasion, and Princess Sofia might be the only one who truly understands what it means to be a hero.

What a tale this will be for the bards.

    Summary

The hands of mankind have shattered the Earth we once knew. Earth's ancestors previously created the machines to give humanity another chance while Earth steadily rebuilt itself, but...the machines have forsaken their commands and have instead gone rogue—the machines of the wind cause tumultuous dust storms, tornadoes, and thunder-hailstorms across the globe. The machines of the sea pollute the waters and turn them a sickly black color; nary a fish or plankton can survive while the machines of the earth clone animals that are…strange. Not like the ones of the past but bigger, stronger, and far more aggressive.

And what's more? Descendants of the ultra-wealthy still retain command. The lower class tread carefully, having no choice but to uphold the new status quo of the colony, lest they wish to be thrown to the hellish surface at the mercy of the machines. It seems that humanity will once again face another extinction until...one clear night, a Dusk-Trodder sees a star pierce through the dusty sky.

[This fanfic is a "Part 2" to Ash-Risen Survivalist! I'd suggest reading it in order to understand what's going on in this fic!]

    Summary

Through the crowd of Venatori, Lucanis could see the form of a woman bound to the wall in glowing, heavy chains. There was a metal muzzle that went over her mouth and obscured the better half of her face.

She stirred slightly, and there were shouts of alarm from all the guards. When she did nothing more, they lowered their weapons little by little, until their shoulders all but fell in relief.

Whoever this new prisoner was, she seemed to absolutely terrify the Venatori.

    Interesting.
