Osha looks up into dark eyes. She hadn't noticed the bartender earlier, too lost in her own recollections. He's tall and lanky, wrapped in loose clothing that hangs off his form in muted colours, yet there's a sharpness to his face and a keenness in his gaze. Even though his jawline is scruffy and he looks in desperate need of a shave and a bath, there's a presence there. An aura.

Osha had a new appreciation for why her mothers had called the Force the Thread. She felt like a thread herself, pulled taut and fraying at the edges, as dexterous calloused fingers moved inside her.
"Fuck," Osha mumbled with bite-swollen lips, her own blood coppery on her tongue. Her nails caught on the stone wall, bringing a shower of dust down every time her fingers clenched. They stilled when a larger hand covered hers, his other hand still maddeningly occupied.
"Focus," he said. She couldn't tell if he was mocking her or not and she wasn't sure she cared as long as he didn't stop.
