    Izuku was done. He had endured 18 years of pain, and he couldn't take it anymore. Climbing to the same rooftop where his dreams had been shattered, his memories overwhelmed him as he vividly recalled the terrible things he had suffered throughout his life. With a heavy heart, he threw his notebook over the building. It contained his final thoughts and served as his last testament. He planned to follow it and hoped to land nearby to make the job easier for the police.

    Just as he was about to take that fateful step, he heard a voice behind him. It was Uravity, holding his notebook in her hand.

    That couldn't be good.

    Or

    Izuku climbs a building to jump off and kill himself, he threw his notebook first and was about to follow it right behind, till Uravity appeared on the rooftop, his notebook secure on her hand.

    "All Men Are Not Created Equal".

    It's a killer opening line, so it's a shame that MHA does almost nothing with that idea once the plot actually gets going. When I first started MHA, I expected it to be about Midoriya trying to make it as a Quirkless hero-in-training, using his intelligence and determination to make up for the sometimes massive disadvantage of not having superpowers. It ended up not being that, so I'm writing that story instead.

    After a long shift, Midnight met a small, injured boy named Izuku who took her to his unconscious mother. She cares for him and will protect him.

    All Might had the worst villain fight, but it was worth the pain inflicted by the villain. After surgery, he wanted to keep protecting citizens. Everyone tries to get him to rest until he meets Izuku, whose father was the villain he just defeated.

    Now, Midnight and All Might team up to give Izuku the love he deserves.

    Izuku was different from other kids. Nobody ever lost a chance to remind him of that. But nobody knew how deep the rift was.

    He didn’t have a father. Not anymore.
    He was Quirkless in a word where that word was meant for a dying breed.
    He was incredibly smart, or smart enough to know that he should keep that as his official Quirk status.
    He was sure that Villains didn’t deserve to live, and that the Heroes that kept the corrupt system alive weren’t any better.

    With a crystalline plan in his head, a vengeance burning in his heart, and enough guts to lie his way to the top, this kid will turn the world upside down.
    And, perhaps, find someone worth walking with along the way.
