Summary
Picard takes a well-deserved rest after a hard day's work. When he finally manages to fall asleep, he experiences an extremely vivid dream in which he meets his 'rival' and a woman in a red dress. Both figures being characters from the book he intended to read before going to sleep.
His dream is the plot of an old romance, and the dream itself is affected by someone.

He grabbed Ištvan’s hand and rose to the saddle before Ištvan who gave the signal to leave.
”You are mine, Erik.”
The neighing of horses echoed through the darkness. The smell of blood and smoke were stuck in Erik's nose, and the image of his parents' corpses never left his mind. Not accompanied by sadness, but by joy. The shackles were cut off. Never again bound to weakness. And Ištvan's words awakened in him a certain hope rather than a fear for his own life.

All of these thoughts swirled in Henry’s mind as he made his way up to where Hans was staying. This could be the very last time that they saw each other, Henry might not have been a knight from birth, but he knew the odds.
