Summary
Frenchie laughs.
He laughs, and the sound is so unexpected that Izzy startles, heart thumping unevenly in his chest, breath caught in his throat. His chin tilts and his eyes squint and his nose wrinkles with it, and it strikes Izzy that he’s never heard Frenchie laugh before. Not properly, not like this.

Summary
Bonnet opens his mouth to say something, thinks better, closes it again, and, in one very visible sign of defeat, his shoulders drop just so. His hand moves, slow like approaching a dangerous animal, but Izzy doesn’t look away from the tired gaze of the rich fop. He can’t. He feels that hand fall on his hair - greasy and unwashed and thick with salt -, feels Bonnet’s nails scrape pleasantly at his scalp, and in the silence, they look at each other. The hand on his hair feels good, so good Izzy could go right back to sleep, but Bonnet…Bonnet isn’t done. Bonnet is never done.

Summary
Milagro will be the main story that this series is based on, with some missing scenes/backstories, and then other fics that will be timestamps from the Epilogues in the main story. I intend for a total of 10 works in the series, plus I'm putting the playlist together, which will be the last work posted, which will contain the playlist and something of a commentary along with it. It's probably for the best to read all parts of the series to get some of the callbacks/in-jokes, but each work in the series holds up on their own, in their own ways.
