Summary
Someone commented on Reddit about a fic they'd read where Lydia was abandoned by Wickham, and Darcy employed Lizzie as a "hostess" in London. I spent *hours* looking for it, and since I couldn't find it I started writing my own. This is the result.
Be aware that this fic revolves around sex work, social attitudes towards sex workers, and women (and girls - the youngest is 14) of the era being forced into sex work through circumstances beyond their control. As such there's a lot of trigger warnings, but since I strongly dislike torture scenes, there are very few explicit depictions of non-consensual activity.
ODC smut will come eventually but not for a long, long time. We've got a lot of pining to work through to get there, and when we do get there, there will rapidly be more pining but I promise an HEA.Copyright 2024, Alicia Wallace. Miss Elizabeth Bennet's family is ruined, Longbourn now lost to them. She chose not to be his wife, but to keep her family together, she will have little choice but to be Mr Darcy's mistress.
