Sometimes, Chiwa found herself thinking of the slums as a big dark pit with no way to go but further down. And nobody wanted to go down, so they pushed and shoved until someone else fell in. But in this little pit, there was one small, fierce light shining. That light was Rudo. And Chiwa needed him to see their world properly. If you asked her, it was a very apt description.
An alternate universe where Chiwa has a little more trust in her friend.
