Summary
Toya Todoroki was supposed to die in the fire. But fate, or something more twisted, had other plans. Saved by an unknown hand, Toya is given a second chance at life. One he never asked for. One he doesn't want.
Enter Hawks: the golden hero with a sharp smile and eyes that see too much. He offers Toya something else, hope. For a while, it works. They orbit each other like twin stars, burning too hot, too fast. But Toya's scars run deep, and even love can't cauterize old wounds.
When everything falls apart, Toya vanishes, slipping into the waiting arms of the League of Villains. It's easier to be a monster when the world keeps calling you one. Hero society is broken, and maybe Toya is too.
