Anakin thinks of the man he met on Tatooine all those months ago. His— his maybe brother?
“I don’t think he ever called himself a Jedi.”
All eyes turn on Anakin where he stands next to his former master. He can feel the pressure of them.
“It doesn’t matter if he's never said it, Skywalker,” Windu taps open a holo displaying a ship painted with a pair of stars rising between flared wings that, from a certain view, could be mistaken for the Jedi wings and sword of light.

After almost losing Qui-Gon Jinn on Naboo, Obi-Wan is knighted and returns to his home planet to learn more about the unique Force culture of Stewjon. Years later, solo Knight Kenobi is called to rescue his former master, his former master's current padawan, and Senator Amidala from causing an intergalactic incident and kicking off a war. Obi-Wan succeeds in the rescue, fails to prevent a war, and then negotiates the participation of the Jedi Order in the war.
Or, the one where the clones get to run the war effort the way they always should have and Obi-Wan has wings because why not.

It was all the same: the same face, unmarred save for the thin scar cutting down his brow. The same hair, golden brown and curling just so at the nape of his neck. The same flesh left hand and two flesh legs under the thin infirmary-standard blanket. Almost machineless entirely. Almost human. Almost as it had been, above all.
But he looked through the glass to his own eyes, and rings of amber stared him down back.
