This was originally intended for my eyes only, but after I reached 20k worth of words and continued typing, I thought that others might also be interested in this slight AU of TFATWS. The main canon divergence is the classification universe I'm setting it in, and that reader is there for part of it. Basically a platonic reader-insert fic that slowburns into Bucky, Sam AND Zemo caregiving for a regressor!reader (although, not all at the same time).

She's famous for that and for her rare purple eyes, which capture anybody who looks at her. Mother Miranda arrived at her place of business and offered her a hefty income in exchange for her services at Castle Dimitrescu. She accepted the job since she had no choice to say no. The moment she entered the castle, she could no longer escape since the moment Alcina laid her eyes on her, she was already gripped by the lady's claws.
