This was honestly such a fun and cute series, with the fun ghost encounters and the filming, the baby bump and the jokes, it was really really cute and i had a good laugh too (smiled A LOT) and it was just the right touch of emotional with the ghost kids and Alfred, all packaged with Danny's special brand of insanity that i love so much, but multiplied x10 with Dan, Ellie and Jason thrown in the mix (with sprinkles of Jazz, Tuck and Sam)

This was amazkng, as always 😌 the burn was deliciously sloooowwww (even slower cause it took me like 7 hours reading this because as always woth this author, i got sidetracked a lot googling things i didn't know about and going on at the very least surface level ateez-related rabbit holes and learning new things about them. Really, this is a compliment because these are so well done and so full of canon compliant details that i've been learning a lot just by reading them and googling a few things! Which was my main purpose when i started reading ateez fanfiction because i'm a very clueless and opposite of cronically online atiny, and i missed/continue to miss a lot of things about Ateez that i really want to know, but get overwhelmed with very easily.)
Anyways, my point is i'm loving going through all these seongjoong fics, even if it takes me wayy too longer than it should to read them cause they're SO, SO good, both at building up and dropping, and are so well crafted, full of complex emotions, realistic cultural details like food and places, good dynamics and wonderful descriptions, that it really feels realistic, intense, alive.
This one in particular was just delightful, i could feel Hongjoong's self imposed angish as if it was breathing down my neck with how visceral it was, and then i could also feel how lovesick he was for Seonghwa and isn't that just wonderful? I loved them goind to the beach (it was as if i could smell the salt in the air, and feel the breeze against my skin) and the rainy morning after (i could see the grey clouds framing the ocean though the glass window, the petrichor mingling with the morning air as the rain pitter pattered on the background, a sweet, nostalgic melody), i loved all the little moments when Hongjoong just allowed himself to enjoy the moment without guilt or pessimistic thoughts, i loved how he was so hungry for getting to know more about Seonghwa, i loved Seonghwa's mom, i loved the descriptions of all those pictures Hongjoong took, and how i could picture them in my mind while wishing they would be real, i loved how Seonghwa took charge and forced Hongjoong to be honest, both with himself and with Seonghwa, and honestly the whole smut part, from the teasing to the ending, was incredibly hot and also incredibly sweet and realistically awkward (in a good way), Seonghwa was a vision as always but Hongjoong was hot af too, and together they're even worse 😫 also i loved the cheeky wooyoung peek at the end! He's such a lovable little shit! 10/10
