The first thing Glitch noticed when she woke up was that she was alone. She had managed to get out of the warm bed. Pjs dragging against the floor and yawning when she heard the sound of the door opening behind her.
"Oh I didn't mean to startle you." Amanda said from the doorway.
"It's alright." Glitch said her voice still round with sleep. She smiled as her partner entered the room.
Today was going to be a good day.

In the insuring conflict Wren runs into a Hero. A member of a special elite police force that help to clean up serious crime.
There they have the option to go with Redhawk or to run away. In cannon Wren runs.

Summary

But you can’t just sit on these overwhelmingly soft and mushy feelings alone. At best you’ll get distracted in conversation and zone out in places you don’t mean to, but at worst someone could get very, very hurt in battle if you’re not paying enough attention.
(You shudder to think of Isabeau in that position.)
You can’t tell him, but you need to tell someone.

Being a freshly-resigned superhero is hard enough, especially when your whole life has been geared towards becoming a superhero. Of course, Isabeau had to go and make it worse for himself. Now he’s balancing part-time vigilantism, having a full-time nemesis, hiding his identity from his roommates and, most importantly, finding a job.
(aka, isabeau tries his best, siffrin tries to kill him poorly sometimes, mirabelle tries to keep everything under control, and the internet does its thing)
