Tsuyu has always been a little different. A lot of people blamed it on her quirk. Her mother told her it ran in the family. Samidare teased her for it, and Satsuki is turning out almost scarily similar – just like Tsuyu without her filter.
Starting UA, Asui Tsuyu anticipated an experience just like every other school she’s ever attended. She was prepared to be left to her own devices, to disguise her loneliness as apathy and her anxiety as a twist of her quirk. She was ready to be challenged, to have to fight tooth and nail for her spot on the hero course. She met each challenge as it came, and did her best to keep her pain deeply hidden.
