Primus sends Optimus Prime back in time just as the Allspark is destroyed in Mission city. He sent him to a time well before the first cities of Cybertron were even a concept in the first builders minds. Where cybertronians don't transform but live among the land, they hunt and trade and follow traditions that have been forgotten entirely. -
