Summary
When Akira is woken from a slumber he doesn't remember entering, he's given a set of simple instructions: enter a Palace, find the Prince, and convince him to leave.
Things are, of course, not nearly so simple in practice. The kindly Counselor claiming to be his guide knows a lot more than he's willing to share, and his watchful eye makes it hard to think straight. It doesn't help that the Palace keeps changing, and the Prince along with it. He's fractured, but familiar, and perhaps Akira's only chance at getting back to the real world. With each cognition they face, Akira can feel himself getting closer to the truth — but so too does the Counselor draw closer to his goal.
Akira is practiced in the art of stealing hearts. Just this once, he's got to find a way to stop it from happening.
