Summary
Due to a transporter accident giving Will Riker empathic powers equivalent to Deanna Troi, but with no ability to use them, Will struggles and Deanna tries to help.
What really helps though, is a chance encounter in the bar with a visitor who is interested in both of them, catching them in a feedback loop of desire.
An idea, that I started writing as more of a plot outline just to give the idea a space to live other than in my head, though it got a bit more detailed as I went on. Thought I'd share it in case anyone enjoys it, or wants to pick up the idea and run with it as I'm not intending on exploring it further. I haven't really read any Deanna/Will, so if this concept has been done before, apologies! If this inspires you to write something, please share x

Summary
Kathryn Janeway, without permission, runs one of the chapters of Tom Paris's holonovel "The Adventures of Captain Proton". She wants to reprise the role of Arachnia, Queen of the Spider People, that she had discovered, to her immense surprise, she thoroughly enjoys.
Tom gets an alert and decides to investigate, pushes his luck and suggests he stays. Kathryn decides to risk it and allows him to join her, laying out some ground rules.

Again.
Good news is, he's not completely alone, at least for the moment. And when he has to go on the run again, he'll find out that help comes from the most unexpected places.
