Summary
Trigger warning: The case that Connor and Gavin are on contains sexual violence and dismemberment of androids.
This is a prequel of a bigger story I'm working on. I love a good redemption arc and therefore Connor/Gavin. I wanted to be brave and finally publish some of my work. Its a case fic as an excuse to get Gavin and Connor to spend time together.

Summary
Bilbo enjoys his quiet existence as a librarian and is perfectly content with living adventure only through books. He's got a nice house and a good job; if his love life is lacking a little, well, that's his own problem and he doesn't let it bother him.
But then the arrival of an old family friend with a penchant for fireworks and grey clothes puts a definite spanner in the works, and Bilbo suddenly has a boyfriend and is on his way to meet the in-laws.
Of course, nothing is ever easy for Bilbo Baggins.

Summary
“No! Bilbo, stay….stay with me, stay focused on my voice.” Thorin said desperately, saying the words he’d heard healers say whenever a patient under their care was close to dying and they struggling to save them.
Bilbo tapped his hand, stroking it, or trying to, merely covering Thorin with blood.
“Don’t…worry. Everything….will be alright.” Bilbo's breath was coming in short stuttering gasps. “You’ll…be alright, I’ll be…alright. Kili…and Fili…it will all work well.”
When Bilbo jumps in front of Azog's sword to save Thorin, Thorin thinks the hobbit is lost to him. Little does he know that hobbits have a form of hibernation, called Winter Sleep, that can be triggered when they are severely injured.

Bilbo has not caught something since he was a lad and accidentally caught the flower that Bertie Proudfoot was tossing to see if anyone was interested in her. It had taken a lot of practice and restraint but he was quite proud of the fact that he no longer flinched when someone threw something at him. For even that sort of reaction meant something to the hobbit tossing their heart. And while he’d always been careful to never throw anything that someone might be able to catch, he couldn’t have prepared himself for their quest.

Summary
The building begins to fall around Robin at a violent pace. He’s gripping the silver bar tightly now. It won’t be long. The floor is shaking, the roof is falling, and he thinks of that happy place of his, that memory, and then he desperately whispers the words engraved on the bar—
Nothingness. For an instant, there is absolute nothingness.
And then—
Robin opens his eyes. For a moment, he wonders if he’s made it to the afterlife. He’s on that hill again, and next to him is the picnic basket. He could smell the cheese laid out next to the chocolate that he and Ramy had spent too much of their money on. His eyes begin to water at the sight.
“Birdie?”

Before Robin dies in the collapse of Babel, he gets a second chance to do it all over again. He’s not going to waste it.
