In the eyes of most of Nevermore's student's, Enid is the adopted daughter of Larissa Weems, a goody-two-shoes, and someone who couldn't get a date if she wanted one. After all, she's too colorful, too peppy, and altogether too much to handle.

Summary
Wednesday and Enid have survived high school and are rooming in uni. Wednesday comes to understand she caught feelings and gets pretty excited about dying from a broken heart. Nobody has done that before, and it's so on brand too.
Featuring dingy little student dorms, Wednesday's latest Viper de la Muerte novel, various composers both classical and modern, outcasts acquiesced to or fighting their institutional oppression, Enid coming into her own and Wednesday thinking she has it all figured out.

Summary
“I’m Enid Sinclair,” the girl says, and holds her hand out in a firm motion, asking to be shook. Wednesday keeps her eyes on the girl, Enid, for a second longer before focusing back on her typing, ignoring the hand being offered. After a few moments of silence, Enid drops it.
“Is that supposed to mean something to me?” she bites, squinting just a little when Enid makes no move to leave. The girl is so bright, face and hair more colorful than the flowers she keeps. It’s almost nauseating.
“I heard you were hiring,” Enid says, still confident. “I’m here for the job.”
Wednesday’s fingers slip, and the typewriter prints a line of jumbled letters. Her head snaps up at the girl, watching her cheery smile drop to something more anxious when Wednesday does nothing but stare angrily. She looks back at the paper, scanning the line she just messed up:
