Summary
“Don’t look, Buck, but I think you might have some competition.” Chim sounds way too amused for his own good.
Buck’s eyes settled onto the naked, beautiful, toned torso of a man. Buck is really good at schooling his face until his eyes slide up to the new recruit’s face and suddenly the jealousy and tension fades away.
“Diaz!?” Buck’s already walking towards the locker room when Eddie looks up. The shocked surprise on his face is evident. And, well.
;or
Buck and Eddie met in basic training. Buck hasn't seen Eddie since the day he left the army, but he's never forgotten him.

Summary
Missing Chris is less of an emotion these days and more of a physical entity. He’s sure everyone can see that he’s slowly hollowing himself out, that he can’t do much of anything else.
But when Jee laughs at him trying to get his tongue to touch his nose, and Mara loops one of her arms through his to keep him from tossing the rest of his cup in the garbage, Eddie feels solid again.
Maybe he likes yellow birthday cake ice cream after all.
(or, gerrard messes with the team's schedules and eddie 'i just drove my son to flee the state' diaz is the only option to watch mara and jee-yun after school on tuesdays, which, shouldn't be a problem at all, right?)

Summary
This story is on an indefinite hiatus.
Buck knew returning to work after the lawsuit wouldn't be easy, but he didn't expect it to hurt so much. He's left behind, abandoned by his family, and alone—completely alone.
The silence is suffocating, the looks are torture, and he can't do it anymore. He hurt the people he cared about and he could never forgive himself for that.
Looking for a fresh start, Buck transfers out of the 118, but no matter how hard he tries, he just can't escape his past.
