Summary
The cycle of thoughts was interrupted when Yesod wrapped a napkin around the wire and slowly ran it down. Netzach suddenly squeezed his hand.
“Are you okay?”
“Yes, just... My brain activity heated up the case, it seems,” Netzach said, with awkward chuckle. His hand released the other's. His voice trembled noticeably less.
tldr: they unconsciously cuddle boxbot style. maybe more.

Summary
mumbling curses to himself, he realigned the toppled tomes, though it only seemed to make it all worse. instead of just a couple of books being off, now the whole shelf was, and he still hadn’t rehomed the last novel-
he groaned as frustration blossomed in his chest and travelled up his spine, digging into his skull. he could feel his pulse in his neck, his forehead, his teeth. fast, maybe faster than normal, if he remembered correctly? painful, in any case.
or : yesod gets sick. he didn't remember he could do that.

Summary
"Philip's mindset was flawed even in his awakening, however. He still had distrust in the back of his mind."
When left vulnerable and alone, even the strongest can collapse. Philip, on the other hand, is very well aware that he does not qualify for that title. Time and time again, he chose to flee, abandoning those he cared for and leaving them to die, despite his best efforts. And yet, all the same, he carried with him the remnants of their trust.
Just once, he wants to live up to that trust, to be worthy of all the things he had been given. Desperately, he wants to grow.
When his pain and despair are at their peak, and when the voice only he could hear was at her loudest, Philip chooses to open his eyes and uncover his ears.
So long as he can stand up straight, he can change even the smallest of things- even if he burns himself to ash in the process.

As everyone knows, uptying the Identities of the Sinners gives a way to look at the stories of them. And everyone knows that they are being narrated.
Now. How would these stories look like if someone else was narrating them? Someone like Ayin?
This fanfic presents, in short summery, retellings of the stories of the Identities if Ayin were to do it.Bookmarked by Leonawriter

Summary
"Of all the ridiculous, risky things I expect of you, gambler," he said, slowly and deliberately, "bringing a trained assassin to your own home — one that attempted to kill you mere hours ago, no less — was decidedly not on the list of things I ever anticipated."
The tone was scathing, harsh and reproachful, but it did little to faze the smaller man, whose smile never faltered. "One of these days I'm going to teach you that to gamble well means being able to anticipate any outcome, no matter how ridiculous or impossible it might seem."
While on their first field assignment since Penacony, Aventurine and Ratio are surprised to encounter a vengeful Avgin mercenary. As soon as she speaks, however, a name and face from the past spring instantly to Aventurine's mind — that of his supposedly dead sister, Kadriya. In what proves to be the biggest gamble of his life, he strikes a deal with her to convince her to come back to Pier Point with him, even though he can't be sure of her actual identity. What follows is a tense and chaotic ride that none of them expected, filled with mystery, secrets, distrust… and regret.
