There was no better surveillance than a living ship. He'd ostensibly been freed, only to be transferred to a prison that could watch him and sense him all the time. A prison that was aware, immature, and hell-bent on sabotaging Megatron's daily existence.

This is an AU of an AU by DesdemonaKaylose and neveralarch: What if Rung chose to join the evil, sexier side? In the peace timeline he ends up conjunxing Megatron, and together they share a lifestyle of gay robot hedonism with Starscream. I thought it would be funny to give these guys a kid, so here we are.

Nothing at all would have prepared him with a chance encounter with a lower caste labour frame who, despite not knowing how to read, wanted to see the inside of the library, and then proceeded to change Orion's views, and ultimately, his life.

Summary
Jazz is a small-time criminal broker. Against his better judgment, he agrees to fence a stolen tactical computer, but instead of a fancy mod, that ‘computer’ turns out to be a beautiful, amnesiac Praxian.
Jazz may be a criminal, but he’s got limits, and mecha trafficking is one of them. He frees the captive Praxian and embarks on a quest to help the mech regain his memory.
It won’t be easy. The mech’s kidnappers aren’t happy their prize was stolen, and looming overhead is the spectre of whoever commissioned that tactical computer, and their unknown intentions for its bearer.

Summary
Iacon remains the last stronghold of the Autobot Faction on Cybertron. In order to make a proper stand against the Decepticons, Optimus Prime needs his High Command united. Old rivalries and distrust do their best to make that impossible.
Ironhide is blinded by her duty as the last mech standing of Cybertron's oldest legion, the Primesguard. Jazz and Prowl, according to the whispers of both Decepticons and Autobots alike, are dangerous remnants of Sentinel Prime's regime who need to be removed. Ratchet pretends he isn't dealing with a conflict of interest when it comes to a certain figure from his past who stands on the other side.
There are only two options: Unite and endure, or divide and fall.
But in the midsts of the final battle of Cybertron unfolding, a sudden unexpected arrival may turn the world upside down, and finally unite High Command.
If only the price wasn't so steep...
This story is a prequel to prodigal, but it can be read as a stand-alone work.
