"As you wish." His alpha agreed then without further comment strode out of the room, leaving Stiles to hurry after him.

“Just answer your phone. You’ve done worse things.”
Maybe but it was the principle of the matter and just like that on cue, his phone vibrated. Stiles glared at the device and then towards Derek. “You owe me big time wolf man.”
He smirked and walked away as Stiles swiped the answer button. “I just want you to know that I am doing this under duress and seriously, you can pick anyone else so why me?”
“Well hello to you Sweetheart.”
“Don’t Sweetheart me Blue Eyes. Your work people suck.”
Stiles thought he overheard the other man sit due to the crackling leather sound that was probably his easy chair. “They do, hence you’re perfect. You’ll be mildly entertaining and not merely annoying as most others I could possibly invite. And, I presumed I could I bribe you with a chocolate shake and curly fries at Maxine’s after.”
Oh, he loves Maxine’s but, “do you think I’m that easy? Butter me up and throw some junk food at me and I’ll swoon to Peter Hale and be your stupid fake date?”
There was an aggrieved sigh that came over from the other side. “Fine, I’ll throw in a double bacon cheeseburger too.”
And, shit. He was totally that easy and a sucker for greasy food

Summary
Once he reached a clearing, he eyeballed the animal. He didn't dare put it down since he assumed it would go running. Yes, he could easily catch the prey but he was not in the mood for hide and seek at the moment.
Upon closer inspection, he noted not only did the animal possess bigger ears than a body it's size could handle but also a long bushy tail. The fur was matted down and now he also noticed some kind of injury on his right hind leg. The animal had definitely seen better days.
It was injured and scared. Peter wondered how it ended up here alone in the preserve. Clearly, this animal was lost or even running from something.
The thing now mewled and it dawned on Peter what he was holding in his mandible. It was a fennec fox and not only that, he now realized it was a he, and an omega. No wonder, why his alpha was drawn to seeking out the cub in hiding. Instinctively, his alpha had smelled distress and omega pheromones.

Derek’s eyes widened as his mouth contorted. “Good luck with that. First of all, he has sworn off alphas. Second of all, he will never ever agree to fake date and third of all, he’s just as stubborn as you.”
Oh, this idea of his was becoming more of a challenge. Peter certainly doesn’t want to back down now. “Please Derek. I am Peter Hale. I am charismatic as fuck. I can steal candy from a baby. Stiles will be no match for me.” And he was an omega. Despite what his nephew said, he could definitely turn on his alpha charm and the boy will be putty in his hand. It would be a slam dunk in his book.
Laughing through a wheeze which was rude by the way, Derek caught his breath. “Please tell me when you go to his place so I can video when he slams the door in your face.”
Later, there would be a door slammed in his face. Yet the boy did take the flowers Peter brought over as an ice breaker before doing so because Peter can be warming and Derek was not there smirking at him so he called it win.
Yep, challenged accepted. He would most certainly convince a certain omega to fake date him for a week.
