Summary

Summary
Sometimes the smallest choices can change everything.

“You know,” she said, voice low as she raised her hand to gently brush the ridge of the dagger. “I don’t normally use other people's blood in my spells, but I do use my own. So if you’re ever going to try and kill me—” her fingers drifted to skim the blade’s edge, just shy of drawing blood, and Lucanis pulled back with a grunt. “—make sure to do it in one clean move. Summary
Everyone bleeds, and so do Antivan Crows.
The wings are sprouting through the back, and the only thing that reminds him that he's alive is the blood, hot on his skin. The magic forces her to get on her knees, and the only thing that reminds her that she's alive is the blood dripping through her scars.
Everyone dies, and so do Antivan Crows.
Maybe, in the end, he died in the Ossuary, and it's the Demon who controls the body. Maybe, in the end, she will die — or maybe she already has, and the world simply hasn’t told her yet.
Not everyone survives the possession, but the two Antivan Crows did.
The single Demon is loud in his head, never leaving him alone. Too many Spirits are always with her, and yet she's still alone with her thoughts.
Everyone loves, in one way or another, and so do Antivan Crows.
