    They put the cheval mirror next to the wardrobe. But its placement opposite the window created the perfect angle to beam the full fury of the morning sun directly into BJ’s retinas. This time Hawkeye allowed BJ to help move the mirror to the corner next to the window. Opposite the bed.

    Hawk had been right, of course, the mornings were easier now that they had a mirror that didn’t decapitate them. And being able to watch Hawk lounging in bed behind him while he buttoned his shirt, well that was just an added perk.

     

    The mirror in the corner of the room had been unobtrusive, at first.
