Summary
Canon compliant, in character attempt at a realistic development of the Sam/Jack relationship seasons 1-8. Missing moments and deleted scenes to address some of the unanswered questions we all have with an emphasis on in character communication, or lack thereof. M for season 8 only. T version available.
“Somebody told me that it was good to remember.” He was looking down at her now instead of at Charlie. Sam wasn’t sure what she was feeling, only that she was feeling a lot of it. Did he mean that he had done this because of her?
“Yeah, I think it is,” she answered him, looking back to Charlie.
“Thanks,” he whispered. Was this what it had been like before they had become strictly co-workers? She didn’t think so. She remembered a lot of flirting and teasing—a lot of fun. She didn’t remember anything so heavy. Maybe this was better, after all. She missed the flirting, but maybe this was what he actually needed. Maybe he needed the things that were hard for him instead of the things that were second nature. Maybe she was selfish to want both, but hey, a girl could dream.

Summary
She's moved on. She's engaged to someone else. Jack doesn't have to be her shoulder anymore. He doesn't have to listen to her babble about an issue until she figures it out. He's her CO. Her boss. He should expect support from her, not the other way around. He ought to turn around and walk the other way. But she looks so dejected---so upset---so troubled---that he can't quite make himself actually leave. After all, they'd always been friends, hadn't they? Summary
Stargate Restaurant AU
Sam Carter came to Colorado Springs for a fresh start. She found a chaotic kitchen, a Minnesotan hotdish of a man flipping eggs, and a second chance she never saw coming.
Jack O’Neill is like a true Midwestern casserole—warm, unassuming, and far more comforting than expected.
Between dinner rushes, old ghosts, and late-night laughter, Sam and Jack build something unexpected—family, forgiveness, and maybe even love.
A quiet story about starting over, staying put, and finding home where you least expect it.

Summary
Sam gets a surprise visit. I really wanted this to be at least a little angsty, but they weren't having anything to do with my plans.
“Wear whatever you want, Sam,” he instructed roughly. “I won’t be looking at the dress.”
Sam inhaled, attempting to draw breath back into her lungs. Jack wasn’t a romantic kind of guy. After witnessing eight years of his practical, logical approach to the world, she had gone into their relationship with her eyes wide open. But sometimes, his rough, direct approach did more for her than any sonnet ever could. It was him, and for better or worse, he was who she wanted, roughness and all.

Summary
This was the very first Christmas fic that I ever wrote. I don't know why I never posted it here, so I figured I'd rectify that. I have gone back and cleaned it up a little and fleshed it out a bit. It's a plot-free one-shot. Just a silly, sweet little bit of near-gutter-fluff.
It's Christmas and they'd agreed to not exchange presents. Jack, of course, has other plans.

Summary
Sam and Jack have a late night conversation when both of them should probably just be in bed instead. What could have woken Sam up at such a late hour?
“Midnight snack?” he asked, taking a seat at the bar.
“Something like that. They’re for Santa.”
“Santa? As in, red suit, big black boots, over the top belt buckle?”
“That’s the one,” she answered with a smile.
“Uhh, Carter, I’m not sure if this is the right time to bring this up, but I feel like if there is a right time it was probably thirty years ago...”

Summary
Jack is retired and living in Colorado Springs again where General Carter leads the SGC. All well and good, but is he basic? Or is she? Or are they just basically happy.
October was Jack’s favorite month. The nighttime chill in the mountains bled into the early morning golden hours and creeped through the glass doors of their bedroom. In November, Sam would be cranking up the heat, but the mild, sunny day time hours of October were enough to keep her fingers off the thermostat. In October when the cold settled over them, she just moved in closer under the covers and pulled his arms around her with a grumbled “cold.” It was a noble sacrifice he made for her, but he wrapped her up anyway, twining their limbs and rubbing warmth into her familiar body. October was his favorite month.

Summary
He hates these pretentious shindigs. Getting all dressed up and being forced to socialize with a bunch of overbearing geeks is not Jack O'Neill's idea of fun. Good thing his wife is here to make things interesting. She has a proposal that might make this party bearable. . . So? Let the games begin. . .

Bookmarker's Notes
"Okay—the shower thing was his fault. He probably should have left her in there alone. But—geez. Give a guy a break. He’d become so accustomed to missing her that having his wife so available—and soapy—and wet—seemed downright providential. Passing on that opportunity would have resulted in the immediate revocation of his Man Card."
This line is priceless; the author brilliant!

Bookmarker's Notes
"And just before the need overtook him, Jack couldn’t help but think about chapters. And life. Time gone, time lost, time wasted—and how sometimes, when you got really lucky, the universe would give you a new clock. A blank book. A fresh start full of beginnings that glimmered like glinted hope on the cosmic horizon."
Loved this!!!!!

Summary
It’s Sam’s birthday, and Jack’s got something for her. But sometimes, gifts aren’t quite what they seem. This is fluffity angsty fluffy fluff (with a side order of slightly hot not-smut #iykyk). No real plot, just a bunny that hit me and forced me to write it. I love these two idiots, and just want to let them find their happiness.
